Agro-industry and circular economy
Agro-industrial and circular economy plants
We design the plants that turn raw materials and waste into valuable products: substrate factories, recycling plants and recovery plants such as biochar and composting. Process engineering, building, services and permitting, all in a single project.
Process engineering
Mass balance, line sizing and machinery selection.
Building and services
Civil works, extensions, fire protection, electrical systems and compressed air.
Environmental permitting
Operating licences, waste management authorisations and environmental procedures.
Types of plant
New builds, extensions and upgrades to operating facilities.
Substrate plants
Upgrades, extensions and new substrate factories.Recycling plants
Sizing and design of recycling and waste recovery plants.Biochar & composting
Composting and biochar plants that turn organic waste into value.
From waste to resource
Agriculture and industry generate materials that cost money to dispose of today and could be a product tomorrow: pruning and crop residues, plant fibres, sludge, plastics and tyres. The circular economy is about designing processes to make use of them, and that is first and foremost an engineering challenge.
We work with substrate manufacturers, waste management companies and agri-food businesses on upgrading existing facilities, extending buildings and designing new factories, always with the same method: understand the process, size it with data and get the permitting right from the start.
How we approach a plant
Process
Raw materials, end product, capacity, mass and energy balance.Layout
Line layout, material flows, storage and future extensions.Design and permits
Detailed design, operating licence and environmental permits.Construction and start-up
Contracting, site management, installation, testing and commissioning.
Frequently asked questions
What do I need to set up a recycling or recovery plant?
A steady supply of waste, a market for the resulting product, a site compatible with the activity and the authorisations to operate as a waste manager. The feasibility study checks all four before you invest.
Can you extend a plant that is already running?
Yes. We plan the extension in phases so production does not stop, and we review the activity licence and fire protection for the new area.
Have a waste stream or raw material to process?
Tell us what material you have and what you want to produce. We will assess the technical and economic feasibility of the plant.
